The petitioner seeks appointment as primary school teacher. She appeared in the TET 2014 Examination conducted by the Board.

There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner was successful in the said examination. There is also nothing on record to show that the petitioner participated in any of the recruitment processes initiated by the Board after the result of the TET 2014 examination was declared.

Till the petitioner is able to show before this Court that she participated in the recruitment process, no order can be passed by the Court directing the respondents to consider the prayer of the petitioner for grant of appointment.

Without appearing in a recruitment process, no appointment can be given in favour of a candidate. In view of the above, no relief can be granted in favour of the petitioner in the present writ petition. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
