1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the post-mortem report and the statements of witnesses. According to the statement of a local witness present at page 12 of the case diary, the present petitioner used to sexually harass the victim and make indecent proposals. He would even spread rumours about her and abuse her in filthy language. The petitioner was seen abusing the victim on the very date of suicide.

3. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider

this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
