Learned counsel appearing for the State respondents submits that the respondent no.5 being the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur may be directed to release the arrear salary including interest to the petitioner.

The respondent no.5 is accordingly directed to release the arrear salary including interest to the petitioner for the delayed period from 1st January, 2010 to 28th February, 2011 in terms of the memo dated 15th September, 2016. The payment may be made within six weeks from date to the petitioner along with interest at the applicable rate.

W.P.A.2638 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.
