None appears for the respondents despite service. The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for consideration of the representation submitted by him on 8th January, 2022.

Being the successful bidder in e-auction for long term mining lease, the petitioner was granted Letter of Intent upon depositing one-third of the bid amount. Subsequently, it was detected that no minable reserve was available in the plots in question for which the petitioner claimed refund of the bid amount deposited by him before the authority. Several representations submitted by the petitioner in this regard fell on deaf ears and the petitioner finally submitted a representation before the authority on 8th January, 2022 which has also not been considered. Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the concerned authority may be directed to consider the

representation submitted by the petitioner within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 8th January, 2022 within one month from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 2639 of 2022 is disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
