The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition alleging unauthorized and illegal construction on property situated in Dag No. 1069 under J.L. No. 17, Khatian No. 4862 and 4861, Mouza and P.S. Joynagar, Dist. South 24 Parganas.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 and the respondent nos. 5 and 6 are all biological brothers and sisters. Petitioners alleged that respondent nos. 5 and 6 are illegally carrying out unauthorized construction on the said property. Petitioners state that on 10.01.2025 they had made a complaint to the Joynagar Mozilpur Municipality Authority. They have neither heard anything on their complaint nor has any action been taken on the complaint filed before the municipal authority.

None appears on behalf of the municipality despite service of notice.

This Court directs respondent no. 3, the Chairman, Joynagar Mozilpur Municipality to decide petitioners' complaint dated 10.01.2025 within0 four weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording an opportunity of personal hearting to the petitioners as well as the others respondent. 6.

With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
