1. This is an application for restoration of the writ petition No. 1566 of 2009 which was dismissed for default on 02.8.2018. There is a delay of 18 days. The respondent does not object to such delay. Delay is condoned.

2. Having regard to the averments made in paragraph 7 and 8 of the application, I am of the view that the petitioner has sufficiently explained the reason for delay and for his non appearance before this Court on 02.8.2018.

3. The CAN 4/2018 is allowed and WPA 1566/2009 is restored to its original number.

4. Let the original writ petition appear on 13th February, 2026.

5. In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to serve the writ petition afresh upon the respondent no. 10. (Smita Das De, J.)
