The State of West Bengal and others It is seen from the order dated March 16, 2023 that none appeared for the petitioner at the time of call on the said date as well as the previous date, that is, February 13, 2023.

On February 16, 2023, the petitioner had sought leave to appear in person and had asked for an adjournment. However, even today none appears for the petitioner, nor is the petitioner appearing in person when the matter is called on for hearing. In view of such repeated negligent attitude of the petitioner, WPA No. 2745 of 2023 is dismissed for default without any order as to costs.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
