1. The present petition has been filed for expeditious disposal of criminal Case No.551 of 2022 filed under Section 138 and 145 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas.

2. Learned counsel for the opposite party says that in fact the petitioner themselves are delaying the matter.

3. This Court without going into the submission of the learned counsel and entering into the merit of the case, direct that the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, North 24 Parganas, or the concerned court shall expedite the trial of criminal case No.551 of 2022 in accordance with law.

4. The petition stands disposed of.
