Mr. Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharyya, learned senior advocate representing NTPC has filed an affidavit of compliance and has drawn attention of this Court to paragraph 7 of the said affidavit wherein it has been averred that apart from provident fund contributions which are required to be made on payment of salaries to the petitioner by DVC for the period from 1st January, 2014 to 31st March, 2014 other service

related dues have already been released in favour of the applicant pursuant to the order passed by the Coordinate Bench dated 27th November, 2020.

However, the applicant has expressed dissatisfaction with regard to the payment made in his favour pursuant to the said order dated 27th November, 2020.

While perusing the said affidavit of compliance this Court does not find any document in support of the payment made in favour of the applicant by NTPC.

Mr. Bhattacharyya has prayed for leave to file a supplementary affidavit of compliance enclosing the relevant documents which would show that payments have been made in favour of the applicant in terms of the order dated 27th November, 2020.

Let such supplementary affidavit of compliance be filed by two weeks from date.

Today, DVC is also represented by learned advocate. The alleged contemnor no.2/ DVC is also directed to file an affidavit of compliance disclosing the steps taken in terms of the order dated 27th November, 2020 by two weeks from date.

List the contempt application under the same heading for further consideration on 14th June, 2024.

Leave is granted to the applicant to amend the cause-title to this contempt application by adding the present incumbent being the Chairman of the DVC.
