Petitioner approached the Officer-in-charge, Coke-Oven Police Station and subsequently addressed a letter to the Commissioner of Police as he was unable to erect the boundary wall being resisted by certain miscreants of the area.

Having considered the plight expressed by the petitioner, I am of the view that the police authorities would be able to render assistance to the petitioner if an appropriate authority directs the police for rendering assistance.

Accordingly, if the petitioner continues to face similar inconveniences he would approach the concerned land officer or the civil court. If the authority or the civil court directs the police authorities to render assistance they would respect, obey and implement the order.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2663 of 2022 is disposed of.
