It is submitted on behalf of the parties that statutory appeal is pending before the Central Government.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that although statutory appeal is pending in this regard, it does not deter this Court from exercising jurisdiction since a wrong has been done by the respondent authorities and the counseling process has already commenced.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1 submits that the efforts can be made from all quarters to have the appeal disposed of at the earliest.

It appears that a statutory appeal is pending before the Central Government.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by requesting the Central Government to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law and upon hearing the interested parties at the earliest, preferably within three weeks from the date of communicate of this order.

As affidavits were not called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance.
