Counsel for the petitioner submits that in respect of the death of his daughter FIR No.523 of 2022 dated 18th November, 2022 has been registered by the Ranitala Police Station. He prays that the viscera report should be made available to the investigating officer as expeditiously as possible.

Counsel for the investigating officer of the Ranitala Police Station, Murshidabad has filed a report dated 27th March, 2023 in the form of instructions addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears that the viscera report has been received and investigation has been completed. Out of the five accused persons three have been arrested. Two accused persons are absconding. Charge sheet No.72/23 dated 11th March, 2023 has been filed against five accused persons.

Hence, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

This Court finds no inaction on the part of the Ranitala Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
