1. Report filed by the Chief Conservator of Forest dated 13th May, 2025 is taken on record.

2. It appears therefrom that one peeling unit consists of three machines and all these three machines jointly form a single unit.

3. In view of the aforesaid stand of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, it appears that the cancellation of the petitioner's license cannot be supported. The cancellation of the petitioner's licence is, accordingly, set aside.

4. The petitioner appears to have complied with the directions of the State Level Committee. Necessary remedial steps shall be taken by the Divisional Forest Officer in this regard.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
