2. The petitioner seeks to change his name from 'Gunjan Sinha' to 'Kanishk Sinha'. The petitioner has made an application to the Central Board of Secondary Education on 06.01.2026.

3. However, after the lapse of almost three months, such application has not been disposed of.

4. The Board is directed to dispose of such application by 30.04.2026, and convey the order of such consideration by 15.05.2026.

5. With this direction, WPA/3030/2026 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
