Fatema Bibi. -vs- The State of West Bengal Mr. Siddhartha Ruj ... for the petitioner This is an application wherein petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 07.01.2025 passed by learned court below wherein the court below has rejected the petitioner's prayer for a direction upon the Officer-in-Charge to start investigation on the basis of a complaint filed under section 175(3) Cr.P.C, on the ground that over the same dispute Panrui P.S. GD Entry No. 277 and 283 dated 06.12.2024 has already been made and one police case has already been initiated. Therefore he did not find any further requirement for registering a new case over the same issue.

On perusal of the complaint filed earlier it appears that it was alleged therein by same complainant Fatema Bibi, in connection with the same incident dated 06.12.2024, which allegedly took place at 6.30 p.m. The subsequent allegation is also in connection with the same occurrence that allegedly took place on the same date and time and therefore I do not find any cogent reason to allow the petitioner's subsequent prayer for lodging second FIR. Therefore, order impugned does not call for interference.

The application being CRR 572 of 2025 stands dismissed.
