Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in the instant case out of political rivalry and the crux of the case relates to the fact that the present petitioner fired at the complainant namely one Susanta Das. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that till date the ballistic expert report has not been submitted before the Court and the charge sheet has been submitted.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and refers to the statement of the witnesses.

We have perused the materials on record including the relevant statement of the witnesses and the seizure list.

Having regard to the complicity of the petitioner in alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application being CRM 1262 of 2021 is rejected.
