Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that her representation with the Chakdah Police Station was not considered. There is a matrimonial discord pursuant to which number of cases have been registered because of sufferance of the petitioner as has been submitted by Mr. Das, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Barnali Gupta, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to represent the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

In view of the fact that two criminal cases are already pending and the petitioner at the relevant point of time was threatened, I am of the view that the petitioner would in respect of the accusations which have been advanced on October, 2022 prefer an appropriate application before the Jurisdictional Court, the

Jurisdictional Court would pass necessary directions in case it is satisfied that any cognizable offence is made out. So far as the petitioner claiming that she has been threatened, if an application is made under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018, learned Court in siesin of the case would call for a Threat Perception Report and pass necessary directions under the said Scheme.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2774 of 2023 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
