Mr. Tushar Sinha Mahapatra Mr. Pranab Kumar Das .....for the petitioner Mr. Jayanta Samanta Mr. Avishek Prasad .......for the State Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that father of the petitioner was a teacher who died after superannuation on 27th February, 2020. Petitioner is a person with disability and he is claiming family pension due to death of his father.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, it appears that family pension case of the petitioner was processed and Assistant Director, Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance vide memo dated 4th August, 2023 intimated the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur that certain documents are required to be submitted in connection with

family pension case of the petitioner for releasing family pension.

Today, learned advocate representing the petitioner does not satisfy the query of the Court whether the documents as indicated in memo dated 4th August, 2023 have been submitted or not.

Considering the said memo dated 4th August, 2023, petitioner is granted leave to submit relevant documents which are required to be submitted from his end within a reasonable time. If such documents are submitted before the concerned District Inspector of Schools, in that event State authorities shall take steps expeditiously for releasing family pension in favour of the petitioner upon settling the family pension case. Writ petition stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
