It is submitted that in view of the orders already passed in the instant appeals, the appeals themselves may have lived out their purpose or may have become infructuous.

The report of the CBI filed today is kept with the record.

The issue as regards whether the Letters Patent Appeals would lie from the orders passed by the Single Bench, has now become academic. The issue is left open to be agitated in independent and other proceedings, pending or otherwise.

With the aforesaid observations, all the subject appeals are disposed of. Consequently, all pending applications are also disposed of.

5.

The Trial Court is requested to take up and dispose of the trials and all pending applications as expeditiously as possible.

6.

The certified copy of the order passed by the Single Bench filed by the advocate for the appellant is kept with the record.

7.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
