This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant no. 6 praying for a direction upon the Learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, 1st Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas to dispose of the Title Suit No. 494 of 1994 expeditiously.

In view of the orders sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to serve notice upon the opposite party. However, learned Advocate on record for the petitioner shall be obliged to serve a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties/learned Advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned Trial Judge.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the suit is otherwise ready for hearing.

In the light of the submissions of learned Advocate for the petitioner, CO No. 402 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, 1st Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas to make an endeavour to dispose of the Title Suit No. 494 of 1994 as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, if the suit is otherwise ready for hearing.
