Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not give the fatal blow. As against the petitioner, at best, it can be alleged that the petitioner was involved in assaulting the son of the victim. The son of the victim suffered simple injury.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws attention of the Court to the charge sheet and materials in the case diary. He submits that the police are continuing with the investigation and prayed for filing a supplementary charge sheet as against the petitioner herein.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 795 of 2022 is, thus, dismissed.
