Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that she is harassed by her neighbour by hurling unbearable obscene words and to that effect she has informed the police station. A GD Entry has been recorded by the police station and necessary proceedings have been drawn under Section 126 of the BNSS.

Having considered the tenor and spirit of the writ petition and the fact that the petitioner happens to be a PHD student, I direct as a remedial measure the Officerin-Charge will depute a lady police personnel who would everyday visit the residence of the petitioner, ascertain from her as to whether she is subjected to any harassment or being heckled by the private respondent and if she finds that any offence is made out she would report to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station who would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2977 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
