Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for one year ten months and witness action is progressing very slowly.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. I have taken into account the statement of the victim which was recorded by the learned Judicial Magistrate under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. Having considered the same, I am of the opinion that an interpreter is required in the present case. Learned trial Court is directed to coordinate with the Office of the District Magistrate and/or Superintendent of Police who will arrange an official interpreter for the purposes of examination of the

victim. The circumstances be created for examination of the victim. The process of examination of the victim and/or the dates fixed for the purposes of trial of the case be preponed. Whole process be completed within a period of three months.

Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid time period is over.

At this stage CRM (M) 394 of 2026 is rejected. Learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta is directed to communicate this order to the learned trial Court. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
