1. Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The appeal preferred by the petitioner could not be considered by the Ombudsman allegedly on the ground that there is no provision in the existing Regulation to treat the applicant Sunil Ghosh or any other person as a consumer of Consumer ID 313247788 pertaining to late Buddhadev Ghosh.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that an affidavit has been submitted by the wife of the deceased Buddhadev Ghosh disclosing that she does not have any objection if the electricity connection is transferred in favour of the petitioner.

4. It appears that the affidavit relied upon by the petitioner was affirmed after the order was passed by the Deputy Director (Engg).

5. It will be open for the petitioner to place all documents before the concerned authority for reconsideration of his prayer for settling the bill amount raised by WBSEDCL.

6. The writ petition stand disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
