1. An explanation is sought from the alleged contemnor nos. 3 and 4, who are present in court.

2. Upon hearing the explanation, benefit of doubt is given to the said alleged contemnors since there might have been a scope of misunderstanding the exact impact of the order of this Court.

3. However, it is submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnors that the order under contempt has already been complied with.

4. Since penal action in contempt is an extreme measure, this Court chooses not to impose punishment on the alleged contemnors, but with a rider that the contemnor nos. 3 and 4 should be careful in future regarding compliance of court's orders.

5. Accordingly, WPCRC of is discharged and the contempt proceeding is dropped.

6. Further personal appearance of the contemnors is dispensed with.

7. The report filed by the alleged contemnor no. 1, that is, the Officer-in-Charge, Behala Police Station, be kept on record.

8. There will be no order as to costs.
