Pursuant to the order dated 29.04.2025 a report has been received from the learned Judicial Magistrate, 19th Court, Calcutta which is reproduced herein below:

"In compliance to Your Honour's order dated 29.04.2025 in CRR 582 of 2025 I am to report that the case no. CS/95036/2016, pending before this court, is currently fixed for hearing of the petition u/s 305 Cr.P.C. For expeditious disposal of the above mentioned case short dates to be given and both parties are to be intimated for taking proper steps on regular basis in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention here that, the above mentioned case was in ER stage for a long period. Afterwards COVID-19 pandemic and several petitions by both the parties were major impediment for speedy disposal of the case.

This is for your Honour's kind perusal and consideration."

In view of the report, learned Judicial Magistrate, 19th Court, Calcutta is directed to take appropriate steps for expeditious disposal of the case.
