Apparently, the petitioner stands implicated in an incident of assault against the defacto-complainant. Moreover, materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioner demanded dowry and was mentally and physically tortured by the defacto-complainant.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
