It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than three years eleven months.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the evidence of the investigating officer is in progress.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

However the learned trial court would ensure that the evidence of the investigating officer is complete at the earliest.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 395 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
