Mr. K. K. Panda .....for the petitioner Dr. Sutanu Kr. Patra, Ms. Supriya Debey ...for the WBCSSC The petitioner has applied for transfer from Manbazar Radhamadhab School, Purulia, to any other school in Bankura.

The petitioner's first application was rejected on the ground that there was only one teacher in English subject in the said school. The petitioner applied afresh thereafter, based on a circular dated September 22, 2021 being Memo No. 66 (25)-CSE/2021, the said application is still pending with the Head of the Institution.

Counsel for the petitioner further submits that the school has already forwarded the same to the D.I. of Schools (SE).

The order dated May 8, 2022 is taken on record.

Be that as it may, in the event such application has been forwarded to the D.I. of Schools (SE) by the Head of the Institution, the

D.I. of Schools shall take immediate steps in terms of the Memo dated September 22, 2021, as notified on 3rd January 2022, within 6 weeks from date. A reasoned order may be passed and put up on the portal.

The Head of School shall, if necessary, forward afresh a copy of the petitioner's application to the D.I. of Schools for the aforesaid purpose immediately upon receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
