Petitioner is aggrieved and approached this Court that in spite of the earlier directions passed in WPA 8665 of 2025, no steps were taken by the police authorities. Pursuant to the directions passed by this Court on 06.12.2024, a Sub-Inspector of Police informed the petitioner regarding the steps taken from the side of the Kalighat Police Station. The subject matter relates to a shop room at the schedule premises which is under lock and key. Police authorities have already submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, a criminal case being Kalighat P.S. Case No.49 of 2025 dated 04.03.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Having considered that the police authorities have taken steps in accordance with law so far as the issue relating to possession of the shop room is concerned, petitioner will approach the jurisdictional civil court for necessary remedies. In case there are directions, police authorities would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3023 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
