Petitioner has prayed for transfer by making off-line application which was sent through Speed Post on 26th September, 2024 to the concerned respondent authorities.

On perusal of the said off-line transfer application, it is found that same has not been made in prescribed proforma as contemplated under Rule 2(e) of the Transfer Rules.

Learned advocate representing West Bengal Central School Service Commission has relied upon an order dated 14th February, 2025 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench on an intra-court appeal being FMA 103/2025

(Tanushri Karmakar Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.).

On perusal of the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench dated 14th February, 2025, it appears that transfer application made by the applicant-teacher was not found maintainable since same was not made in the prescribed proforma as contemplated under the relevant Transfer Rules.

In the present case, undated off-line transfer application is also not preferred in the prescribed proforma.

Therefore, no direction is required to be passed on this writ petition directing the concerned respondent authorities to consider such transfer application.

Hence, writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
