The principle as has been laid down by the Court as has been cited by the NCTE that (what is the contention of the petitioner here) not only the percentage of marks of Pass Course papers of a candidate will be taken into account by the Board but also the marks of Honours papers are also to be taken into account. If both the Pass and Honours papers are taken into account by the Board, the petitioner claims that he will be qualified and would be a fit candidate for recommendation in respect of 2020 recruitment process.

Therefore, I direct the Board to recommend the petitioner after calculating the percentage and if she

is otherwise eligible. If necessary, the petitioner should be appointed in a future vacancy in the district opted by the petitioner.

With the above observations, the matter is disposed of.
