Pradeep Kumar Pradhan v. Samir Biswas Secretary State Transport Authority Wb
CPAN 227 of 2025 In WPA 26053 of 2024 30.4.2025 Pradeep Kumar Pradhan-vs- Samir Biswas, the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal Ct.25,sl. 9 sk Mr. Bhaskar Nandi ...for the petitioner.
Mr. Sourav Chowdhury Mr. Prashant Kr. Tripathi ...for the State In re:- CPAN 227 of 2025.
Learned advocates appear for the respective parties.
It is submitted that the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal vide his letter dated April 9, 2025 has asked the petitioner to deposit tax before the Taxing Officer, PVD, Kolkata. Assessment of tax has also been attached with the said letter for the petitioner's convenience.
In such view of the fact, it appears that the reason, for which the petitioner has preferred the instant contempt application alleging non-compliance by the said alleged contemnor of the Court's order dated November 13, 2024, by not informing the petitioner about his tax liability, has already been redressed. In such circumstances, the Court does not find any further cause of action to remain in this contempt application for adjudication.
Hence, the contempt application being CPAN 227 of 2025 stands disposed of.
