Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mrs Sujata Das learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of G. R. Case No. 353 of 2022 arising out of Posta P. S. Case No. 53 dated 26.03.2022. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that although the investigation has concluded and chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court but till date charge has not been framed.

The learned Magistrate, 13th Court, Calcutta is directed to ensure regarding supply of copies to the accused persons and consider the charges by 30th September, 2023. The learned trial court would, thereafter, fix regular dates so that the trial of the case can be taken to a logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. If the learned trial court finds that any of the accused is not

appearing or is evading the process of law it will exhaust the process of law by 30th September, 2023, segregate the case and consider the framing of charge on the dates so fixed. All efforts be taken to conclude the trial within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 424 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
