The petitioners have been debarred by Steel Authority of India Limited from participating in any of the tenders/business dealing.

3.

The appeal preferred by the petitioners before the Chairman, Steel Authority of India Limited is pending consideration.

4.

The petitioners submit that the reply to the show cause filed by the petitioners on 24th July, 2024 may also be taken into consideration at the time of adjudication of the appeal.

As it appears that the petitioners have raised their grievances before the appellate forum and the same is pending disposal, accordingly, the instant writ petition is

disposed of directing the Chairman, Steel Authority of India Limited to consider and dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioners in accordance with law at the earliest.

At the time of consideration of the appeal, the reply to the show cause filed by the petitioners before the General Manager (EM), Steel Authority of India Limited dated 24th July, 2024 shall also be taken into consideration.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
