The petitioner would be appearing in the ensuing Madhyamik Examination 2025 as a bona fide student of Katwa D D C Girls' High School, Katwa, District: Purba Bardhaman.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the said examination though is scheduled to be held on and from February 10, 2025 but in spite of registration, she has not received the admit card.

The petitioner is praying issuance of the said admit card.

Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, the respondent no.2 herein submits that the petitioner, due to the laches of the school since has not been enrolled for the said examination, the admit card has not been issued to her.

The petitioner, without any fault, is facing unnecessary anxiety before her first Board examination.

The Board, however, as a respite to the students who have not been enrolled for the said examination, has decided to re-open the designated

online portal and to keep it open till 2:00 P.M on February 07, 2025.

Mr. Bari submits that the particulars of the petitioner have already been uploaded in the said portal.

Ms. Bhattacharyya submits that the Main Office of the Board shall remain open from 11.00 a.m. till 2.00 p.m. on February 08, 2025 and on February 09, 2025.

The school shall now approach the Board on the aforesaid date(s) within the said stipulated time with all relevant documents and upon payment of the enrolment fees, stationary fees, late processing fees together with costs of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), the Board shall enroll the petitioner for the Madhyamik Examination, 2025 and shall issue the admit card which the school shall collect and deliver to the petitioner at her residence. W.P.A. 2971 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms.
