Asit Kumar Biswas & ORS. v. State Of West Bengal & ANR.
19.07.2021
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.4 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.
C.R.R. 277 of 2012 (Via Video Conference) Asit Kumar Biswas & Ors.
versus State of West Bengal & Anr.
In Re: An Application under Section 482 read with Section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
Md. Anwar Hossain, Ms. Manisha Sharma ... For the State.
None appears for the petitioners.
Mr. Hossain, learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report of the Officer-in-Charge of Hanskhali Police Station. Let the same be kept with the record. The said report reflects that charge-sheet has been prepared and the same has been submitted before the court. As the investigation of the case relating to Hanskhali P.S. Case No. 760 of 2011 dated 22.12.2011 has already been concluded, I am of the view that the revisional application has become infructuous.
However, the petitioners would be at liberty to agitate the points canvassed in the revisional application, if so advised, at the appropriate stage of the proceedings. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 277 of 2012 is disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
