The petitioners would be appearing in the ensuing Madhyamik Examination 2025 as bona fide students of Howramari High School (H.S.), Canning, Jibontala, District:

24-Parganas (South), Pin743502.

The grievance of the petitioners is that the said examination though is scheduled to be held on and from February 10, 2025 but in spite of registration, they have not received their admit cards.

The petitioners are praying issuance of the said admit cards.

Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, the respondent no.2 herein submits that the petitioners, due to laches of the school since have not been enrolled for the said examination, the admit cards have not been issued to them.

The petitioners, without any fault, are facing unnecessary anxiety before their first Board examination.

The Board, however, as a respite to the students who have not been enrolled for the said

examination, has decided to re-open the designated online portal and to keep it open till 2 P.M. on February 07, 2025.

Mr. Bari submits that the particulars of the petitioners have already been uploaded in the said portal.

Ms. Bhattacharyya submits that the Main Office of the Board shall remain open from 11.00 a.m. till 2.00 p.m. on February 08, 2025 and on February 09, 2025.

The school shall now approach the Board on the aforesaid date(s) within the said stipulated time with all relevant documents and upon payment of the enrolment fees, stationary fees, late processing fees together with costs of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), the Board shall enroll the petitioners for the Madhyamik Examination, 2025 and shall issue their respective admit cards which the school shall collect and deliver to the petitioners at their respective residences.

W.P.A. 2976 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms.
