1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities.

3. The petitioner's application for transfer on the medical ground, though allowed with a 'NOC' has not been forwarded to the concerned D.I. The school authorities are directed to forward the application along with the 'NOC' to the concerned D.I. by April 20, 2026.

4. Concerned D.I. will consider the application for transfer of the petitioner on medical ground strictly in line with the decision of this Hon'ble Court in MAT 782 of 2023 (Suvadip Ghorai vs.

State of West Bengal & Ors.) within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application and 'NOC' from the school authorities.

5. The suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode.

6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
