Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that since the police filed charge-sheet further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner was last seen with the victim. Moreover, the petitioner informed the wife of the victim that he was with the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. However, we request the jurisdictional Court to frame the charges as expeditiously as possible, if not already framed.

CRM (DB) 470 of 2022 is rejected.
