Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner refers to the seizure list and submits that the police did not seize any acid or any vessel containing any acid.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the petitioner not only poured acid on his wife but also caused acid burn injuries on the two year old baby.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 471 of 2022 is rejected.
