It is submitted that respondent no. 11 has commenced construction on Plot No. 567, J.L. No. 198, under Mouza - Gouripur, P.S. - Dhaniakhali, District - Hooghly, over a piece of land owned by the petitioner by way of inheritance.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the said construction has been undertaken without obtaining any permission from the concerned Panchayat Authority. It is further alleged that, despite the petitioner's representation, no action

has been taken by the Prodhan of the concerned Gram Panchayat.

Respondent no. 11 is not represented. Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept with the records.

In view of the aforesaid facts, WPA No. 3092 of 2025 is disposed of with a direction upon the Prodhan, Mandra Gram Panchayat (respondent no. 9), to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation appearing at page 13 of the writ petition, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. If it is found, upon such consideration, that the construction in question is unauthorized, the Prodhan shall take appropriate steps in terms of Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973 (as amended) in accordance with law.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
