1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is an employee of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). He prays for a direction upon the respondent authority to change the bank where his monthly salary is being credited.

3. Submission of the petitioner is that he is paralyzed waist downwards and is currently on medical leave. He has made an application before the authority seeking change of his salary account. The same is pending consideration till date.

4. The petitioner further alleges that the form for nomination which is appearing in his service records is a false one. He was absent from work on 24th April, 2025 when the said form of nomination has been prepared. The petitioner intends to submit a fresh nomination form.

5. None appears on behalf of NABARD despite service.

6. The private respondent, that is, the estranged wife of the petitioner is also not represented despite service.

7. In the absence of the respondents, it is not possible for the Court to decide the issue conclusively.

8. As it appears that a legal representation made on behalf of the petitioner seeking change in his salary account is pending consideration before the General Manager, NABARD being the respondent no. 2 herein, accordingly, the respondent no. 2 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation dated 14th July, 2025 strictly in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties and by passing a reasoned order.

9. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

10. If the prayer of the petitioner is accepted then necessary consequential steps shall be taken.

11. As regards the prayer of the petitioner for submission of fresh nomination form, it will be open for the petitioner to apply before the authority with his prayer.

12. If a prayer is made by the petitioner for change of nomination, then the same shall be considered and disposed of strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of the application.

13. The writ petition stands disposed of.

14. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

15. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
