The writ petitioner complains that notwithstanding FIR No.

of dated 22.04.2019 registered by the Chopra Police Station, Uttardinajpur, the investigation has not progressed. The investigation into the aforesaid FIR must be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

This Court is of the view that the present disputes with regard to tea leaves and its protection and ownership is essentially a civil matter, in which the police have no role to play. It also appears that the dispute is primarily a family dispute.

The Officer-in-Charge, Chopra Police Station, shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
