Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits in 2019 he was falsely implicated in a case involving narcotics. He has been granted pre-arrest bail. Subsequently he has been falsely implicated in the present case. He prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits petitioner has criminal antecedents. He was implicated in a narcotics case earlier. In the present case he and his associates were involved in illegal transportation of narcotics across international border. When BSF personnel intervened they ran away.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner was involved in a narcotics case earlier. In the present case it is alleged he was transporting narcotics across international border. He had absconded. His custodial

interrogation may reveal ramifications of the crime and hence this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner
