Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the police authorities in respect of the act and action of the accused persons no action has been taken against them by the police authorities.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on receipt of such information Jagaddal Police Station case no. 27/25 dated 10.02.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023 as well as ST & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Investigation of the case is in progress.

The police authorities will take the case to its logical conclusion preferably within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 3065 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
