Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondent has duped him for offering a job and thereby taken a sum of Rs. 12,00,000/-. The private respondent thereafter handed over fake appointment letters and whole of the incident after being informed to the police station, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Panskura Police Station Case No. 889/2023 dated 14.12.2023 has been registered for investigation. Steps are being taken, warrant of arrest

has been issued against the absconding accused. Prayer has also been made before the learned CJM for proclamation.

Having considered the steps taken for tracing out the accused persons, police have taken steps. However, having considered that the case was instituted on December, 2023, I direct that an Officer in the rank of SDPO/DSP/Additional SP would monitor the execution as well as progress of investigation relating to Panskura PS Case No. 889/2023.

All efforts be exhausted to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations WPA 2931 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
