1. Four of the elected members of the Panchayat have filed this writ petition as a public interest litigation alleging that they have no confidence in the Pradhan of the Panchayat.

2. Admittedly, all the four petitioners are elected members of the Panchayat and it is for them to work out their remedies under the provisions of the West Bengal Panchayats Act and at their instance, a writ petition as a public interest litigation cannot be entertained.

3. With the above observation, W.P.A.(P) 57 of 2024 stands dismissed.

4. No costs.
