Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. Some of the coaccused were granted bail. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the order of rejection of the prayer for anticipatory bail dated August 11, 2021 passed in CRM 2123 of 2021. He submits that the petitioner stands implicated by an eye witness whose statement was recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials available in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.
