Mr. Satadal Sovan Halder ....For the Petitioners Affidavit-of-service, filed in Court today, is taken on record.

None appeared for the respondents.

The petitioner contended that, the petitioners were Contractual Part-time Teachers at one Koylapada S. D. High School (H.S.), District - South 24-Parganas. The petitioners were appointed in or about 2012. The petitioners contended that, the contractual term came to an end after two years. The State had withdrawn the policy under which the petitioners were appointed. The writ petition was filed in or about 2022 after an inordinate delay. The alleged withdrawal of the policy had not been challenged. There had been no allegation of practice of mala fide exercise of power against the State authority. The petitioner then claimed reinstatement in the job.

Claiming to be contractual part-time teachers the petitioners can not claim any right. In terms of a notice dated December 31, 2020, Annexure-P6 at page 82 to the writ petition which was issued by another particular

school, no enforceable right can be enforced through this writ petition.

In view of the above, this writ petition, WPA 2797 of 2022 being devoid of any merit stands dismissed, without any order as to costs.
